A pedestrian street mall, the city's Central Avenue is the ideal place for finding good deals on discount clothing, American goods, shoes and souvenirs. Occasionally, street vendors will set up their wares, allowing shoppers a chance to haggle for goods. Several department stores are located along this shopping strip, including the La Gloria and Universal stores.
